Sometimes as a working mom, I feel guilty about not having all fresh foods on the table. I want to feed myself and my family the least amount of processed food possible. I also know that for sanity's sake, that I need to find some quick and easy alternatives for cooking everything from scratch!
Recently I can across a brand of frozen side dishes that I decided to give a try. It's Alexia Foods and it was created using only quality, all-natural ingredients and gourmet flavors. I decided to try the sweet potato fries, garlic bread and . In addition, there are more than 30 varieties of oven-baked appetizers, artisan breads, premium french fries, specialty potatoes and potato & vegetable sides available.
The garlic bread was super easy, pre-cut and tasted good. It was crispy on the outside and buttery on the inside. A winning combo! The sweet potato fires were also a big hit, especially with the little guy.

They retail from $3.49–$4.99, depending on the product and can be found in the frozen potato or frozen natural foods section of most major grocery stores, mass retailers and natural food stores. I found them at Target and Vons.
Whether it's the all-natural ingredients or the uniquely flavorful recipes, Alexia offers a fresh take on all your favorites. For me, it's an easy way to add something almost fresh to my family's dinners :)
